2009 Relay For Life
Contact Dominic/Vivian Chen for more detail : aeo.ptk.president@gmail.com
There are 2 ways for you to join our team this year :
1. Contact our team captain Dominic/Vivian Chen at the email above to sign up.
2. Directly register online through www.relayforlife.org ( search for “teamnorthstar”, which is our ptk team name there ).
We are running the fundraising for the relay. There are 2 ways that you can contribute/donate through our activities/events :
+ Buying “Paper Star” : this is our president Vivian’s idea since there is a legend in Japan that if we make 1000 star, we can make a wish. Therefore, we are making every effort to fundraise for 1000 stars ( which mean $1000
) in order to honor people who suffer from cancer.
+ Making a bid : we will continuously go around the track at the relay. You can join us by guessing/estimating how many laps we can make at that day and bid on that. For example, you estimate our group can make 10 laps, and you want to donate 50 cents/lap, so the amount you probably donate = $/lap times # of lap, which is, in this case, 50 cent x 10 laps = $5.
For more information, don’t hesitate to contact our team captain.
The relay will be on May 31st.
