Phi Theta Kappa chapters raised more than $184,000 through Relay For Life participation during the 2006-07 academic year! Relay For Life is the American Cancer Society’s signature event to raise awareness and funds to support cancer research, education, advocacy and patient services.
A big thank you to all who supported the North Stars at this years Relay for Life, held at Lower Woodland Park Track at Green Lake, on 2nd & 3rd June. Captains for this event were Erin Wilson and Autumn Loomthong, and the team had 23 members. I am delighted to report that the team rose to the occasion, achieving the fundraising and recruiting goals. In total, the North Stars raised $2140 for a very worthy cause.
